The Sweatt and Martin Family Christmas

This year's Christmas celebrations started on Friday, December 21st and was followed by four days of fun, food and family time.

Here are pictures taken by Grandpa Martin. Enjoy!

Friday night was the time for the annual Martin-Winchell Christmas dinner. Here is Becky, Dave, Kate and Jennifer. It was also Jen's 18th Birthday. Happy Birthday Jenny! Ooops, no more Jenny - either Jen or Jennifer now.

Here I am with Sarah and Kate. I am starting to get excited about the "present" thing, but we haven't even got to the good stuff yet. Kate, on the other hand, doesn't mind as long as someone is holding her while admiring her new outfit.

Now this is more like it. Candy Land! Yessss!

Now who do I want to beat first - Mommy, Daddy or Jenny.

Jenny might beat me. I'll go for Daddy - he's easy.

Sarah is holding Kate while she unwraps her legos. Hmmmm. Perhaps I will have to help Kate with those.

Blake got some too and I think we should share. Yep - I am into sharing.

Mommy set the tables all over the house - 3 of them. Here is the table in the sun room where the tree was - and the presents, I might add.

As usual, I was told not to touch anything, but.....

Here is a picture of two of the tables on Christmas morning, before we had breakfast (the fourth meal at these tables). Still look good don't they? Ok, let's get this food thing done and get down to business.

Wow!

Like I said, it's time to get down to business.

Breakfast is about ready and then its open season on the presents.

It will be a lot of work for me since I have to help others open their presents. Every one is soooo slow.

Well, Kate and Blake are ready. Guess I will have to help them.

Actually, they seem rather content with what they are doing now. Perhaps I'll open a couple first.

Nice wrapping job. Seems almost a shame to tear the paper.

Too bad - it's toast.

Perhaps I'll save the paper later.  Perhaps not.

Slow down?

What do you mean, slow down?

You have a wonderful sense of humor - go try it on someone else.

Daylight is burning.

Here is Papa admiring his Christmas present.
A Rolex, no less. Pretty cool Papa.

Here is an interesting shot with Kate sitting on Papa's lap while he is opening a present for her.

Nana and Papa seem to be watching something interesting. In the background is Mommy and Daddy.

They are probably watching me do something cute.

Here is Mommy (undoubtedly taking a picture of one of us kids) and Daddy (opening a present).

Here is Nana smiling while Papa has both of the twins now - Blake and Kate.

Next year will be their year, climbing all over everything and getting into stuff.
I may have to be really quick next year.

There will be more pictures later. For now, I'm tired out. Merry Christmas Everyone!
